I’m Rachel.
I help perfectionists and high achievers be kinder to themselves.
I help relationships improve their communication and intimacy.
I help therapists hire interns and find a work-life balance again.

Rachel
I’m a therapist and coach who helps people untangle anxiety, perfectionism, and intimacy struggles so they can feel grounded, connected, and at home in themselves. I work with individuals and relationships who want more than just “coping”—they want real, lasting change. Around here, we mix honest conversations, evidence-based tools, and a touch of humor, because healing works best when it’s human.
I offer business coaching, life coaching, speaking events and workshops, yoga, internships and therapy to name a few.
Can’t wait to work with you!
(scroll to the end if you’d like to see my qualifications)

I help people who care deeply learn to care for themselves just as much.
Whether you’re navigating the early days of a relationship, learning how to talk about intimacy without shame, or figuring out how to set boundaries without feeling like a bad person, I’m here to help you build the kind of relationship with yourself and others that feels steady, connected, and real.
I’ve been in the stuck, “should”-filled place too.
For years, I was the one who “had it all together” on the outside—checking every box, meeting everyone’s expectations—but inside, I was exhausted, anxious, and never really sure where I ended and other people’s needs began. I know what it’s like to feel disconnected from your own voice, to keep pushing even when your nervous system is waving a big red flag, and to wonder if you’re just “too sensitive” to handle life.
My turning point came when I realized I couldn’t think my way out of it.
I had read all the books, tried all the tips, and powered through more than my fair share of burnout. But it wasn’t until I slowed down, listened to my body, and let myself get truly honest about what wasn’t working that things began to change. That shift—from striving to self-compassion, from performance to presence—is what I now help my clients experience.
These days…
I run a private practice in Georgia where I see individuals and couples online and in person, work with coaching clients internationally, offer workshops and retreats, and create safe spaces for people to talk about the things we’re not “supposed” to talk about—sex, money, anxiety, shame, and everything in between. My clients describe our work as honest, collaborative, and often sprinkled with a little humor, because healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time.

My credentials (and why they matter to you):
- Licensed therapist, board-certified coach, and certified sex therapist specializing in relationships, highly sensitive people and anxiety
- Training in Solution-Focused techniques, Mindfulness, CBT, and psychoeducation
- Experience working with highly sensitive people, perfectionism, and those from conservative backgrounds exploring sexuality
- Facilitator of workshops for couples, new parents, and other therapists
These aren’t just bullet points—they’re the tools I draw on to meet you where you are and guide you toward where you want to be.

Why work with me

“Rachel is a compassionate and understanding clinician who is willing to navigate each individual’s process from a dynamic perspective. In working with Rachel as a fellow practitioner, it is evident that she is knowledgeable and well-trained in both couples counseling and working with teens.
She takes time to research and educate herself on an array of approaches, which is complementary to her positive energy and passion for counseling. I’d feel confident in recommending individuals and couples to her for psychotherapy.”
Lindsey A Richards, LPC, NCC

“Rachel has been a huge help to me as I navigate everything from taking the GRE to applying for graduate schools! Her advice has steered me in the right direction and given me confidence to pursue my dream of becoming a Licensed Counselor. She’s extremely compassionate and knowledgeable making her someone I have been able to depend on during this stressful, often confusing journey! With her guidance, I applied to University of North Georgia, and I just received an invitation for an interview!
Thank you so much Rachel!”
Emily C., Graduate School Applicant

“Rachel turned out to be a critical resource for me as a young therapist working in private practice for the first time. I had no idea where to start and I was oblivious to the business-related knowledge that private practice requires. In just a short time, Rachel offered me more resources, tips, secrets and hacks than I could have hoped for. She obviously knew exactly what I was dealing with and that made me feel such relief. I owe it to my clients to be part of a well-organized business, and Rachel helped me get there.”
