Sex coaching is a collaborative, future-focused process designed to help you identify goals, remove barriers, and create meaningful change. It’s about creating actionable strategies to help you move forward with confidence and clarity. I use evidence based treatment for sexual dysfunction and sexual relationship difficulties. Sex coaching in many ways is just like any other life coaching. It involves talking, exploring old negative patterns, creating new healthy patterns, and learning healthy communication. No one is removing their clothes. It’s just talking. However, unlike other therapy, the main topic is sex and you’ll likely be prescribed behavioral homework exercises designed to reduce sexual anxiety and improve sexual function and sexual communication.

What to Expect in Coaching Sessions
A Safe and Supportive Environment
Our sessions are a judgment-free zone where you can openly discuss your thoughts, feelings, and goals. We’ll work together to identify areas of growth and develop personalized strategies to help you thrive. I will ask personal historical information to help us understand how you became the person you are today. So much of what is worked through in sex coaching is negative messaging we have received from family and society that holds us back from our own happiness. Treatment is based on the latest research and evidence on sexual health. Sessions are weekly or every other week and the goal of coaching is agreed upon treatment goals.

Coaching is focused on the here and now. We’ll set clear, achievable goals and create a roadmap to reach them. Whether it’s improving communication, building confidence, or making significant life changes, we’re in this together.
Personalized Strategies
Every individual is unique, and so is our coaching approach. We’ll tailor our sessions to fit your specific needs, ensuring that you receive the support and guidance that resonates with you. The treatment for relationships follows the Gottman Method.
The first 3 sessions involve assessment.
- Session 1 is a 55-minute session with both partners. Partners take an assessment.
- Session 2 is partner one alone for 55 minutes.
- Session 3 is partner two alone for 55 minutes.
- Session 4 is a 55-minute session goal setting with both partners. Coaching is spaced out from there.
The Process
Step 1
Discovery Call
In this free 15-minute call, we’ll explore your goals, your challenges, and what you’re truly craving in your life. It’s a chance for us to connect, see if we’re a good fit, and for me to recommend the coaching package that best suits your needs.
Step 2
Onboarding
After you say yes to moving forward, you’ll receive a welcome email with a link to everything you need to get started—your Coaching Agreement and an Intake Questionnaire to help guide our work. Once that’s submitted, we’ll schedule your 55-minute Action Planning Session within the week to set clear, aligned goals for your journey.
Step 3
Coaching
We’ll meet weekly or every other week for a 55-minute, one-on-one coaching session (in person or via a secure video platform—your choice!). Each session is personalized and includes powerful insights, gentle challenges, and homework designed to deepen your progress between sessions. You’ll also have access to support between sessions via Practice Better chat, so you never feel like you’re doing this alone.
Coaching vs. Therapy: Understanding the Difference
While both coaching and therapy aim to support personal development, they differ in focus and methodology:

Therapy: Explores past experiences to understand present behaviors and emotions. It’s ideal for addressing mental health concerns and healing from trauma.

Coaching: Centers on current challenges and future aspirations. It’s action-oriented, helping you set and achieve goals without delving deeply into past experiences.
